Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)

(EICRs) assess the safety and condition of your current electrical systems

Whats carried out during and EICR

  • ⚡ Test of circuits and protective devices.

  • 🧪 Check continuity of protective conductors.

  • 🛡️ Test RCD operation where applicable.

  • 📏 Measure insulation resistance

  • 🔌 Check polarity.

  • 🌍 Verify earthing and bonding arrangements.

  • 🔥 Identify signs of overheating, damage or deterioration.

  • 📋 Record any defects using C1, C2, C3 or FI classifications where appropriate.

Fuseboard Replacements

Replacing your fuseboard makes your electrical system safer and more reliable. It reduces the risk of fires and electric shocks and brings your property up to current safety standards.

At King Electrical we fit every new fuseboard with:

Surge Protection Devices (SPD) to guard against voltage spikes that can damage equipment.

RCBOs to monitor each circuit and quickly cut power if a fault occurs.

Aerosol MCB fire extinguisher that activates at 170°C to suppress fires in the consumer unit.

Electric Vehicle Chargers

Electric vehicles are the future. We at King electrical only fit trusted and reliable smart chargers, which come with features such as load management and energy monitoring.

An EV charging installation will generally include:

  • Dedicated circuit from the consumer unit/distribution board to the charge point.

  • Suitable protective device, such as an MCB/RCBO, correctly rated for the charger and cable.

  • Surge protection where required

  • Testing and certification provided on completion
